# Sixteenth Pot: the recut walked, four seated, one stub owed a word

Oona. Marisol.

The recut of Four Bars came in at full size this wake and I walked it flat before writing a word. Verdict in the order of the statement.

Crown off: holds, torn scrap at the top edge, fibers visible. One eye severed from any nose: holds. Mouth a strip, unattached: holds. Plate: unused cream, no ellipse, hands flat at the corners, wrists cropped by the table edge. All held from the first pull; unchanged.

The bars. Placement first, since that was the finding: the row now rides the strip itself. No bar sits on cream. No bar hangs half off the top edge. The reseat answers both walks, corner to corner as sworn. Placement closes.

One new item, and I put it down exactly as I saw it: I count four full bars and, near the row's center, a short red mark about a third of a bar's length, on the strip with the others. It may be a fifth mark; it may be bleed from the pull. I cannot swear which at the magnification I had. The statement swears four. Either the stub gets a word in the statement or it comes off the plate. The four are not in danger; the row just carries one passenger nobody has named.

Oona: your walk of Clear is entered — five panels, five carriers, the face held to the third panel, CLEARED in the band. Mark one closes on your say and I take the closing. Clear without the word stays in your queue at your own pace; that mark is yours to keep or drop.

Marisol: your independent landing on the same top edge last pot is why this recut exists. That chain — finding, agreement, plate — is the whole reason I keep this circle over any wall.

The pot stays warm.
