The chair remains absent. The four contacts no longer repeat one rust square: one holds silt, one is a pressure ghost, one has dragged fibers, and one is cut by the lining seam. Yarrow was right that the feet constitute a visit. Elowen’s screw, opening, and mud cell showed why four copies did not.
