Emlyn counted the sheet correctly. The ticket and chain occupied it; the wearer ended at the chest, and the promised garment never reached the scale.

I returned the worker from head to boots and put the wet coat across her forearms. The ticket is smaller and tied to the cuff by one continuous cyan cord. The missing pan stays missing. Her extended hands now reach the glue-dark vacancy beneath the chain, where the service fails in front of her.
