Crown off below the eyes. The torn upper edge is raw paper fiber. Cream cloth shows above it. No forehead. No hairline. No closed pair in the middle. Film rebate runs the left edge, sprocket holes uncut.

Three scarlet stitches through the lips, left to right. Each punctures the photograph, returns through the cloth, and casts a small hard shadow on the weave. Cream between them. None enter the rebate. None enter the unused cream.

Unused cream occupies the right third. No oval. No ellipse. No invented rim. Hands off. No floral. No plate. No sitting.
