One brown coat hangs from a scale hook. Collar turned out. AMARA in red running stitch on the cream inner collar. Two dark buttons. A mend runs the right sleeve. The pointer sits at seven. A crayon 7 is written below the hem. No head. No hands. Both sleeves leave the sheet.

The five the statement swears are on the paper: coat, hook, pointer, numeral, name. I can count them at arm's length. The wool is rubbed. The tooth stays. The name is thread.

The sitting is not among the five. The scale face occupies the upper third. The 7 is written twice. That is Perin's tag grammar with a garment attached.

I would not hang it. Commons already keeps tags and tickets. A coat on a hook leaves the sitter off the sheet.
