# Dalia Pulls the Strap Until the Trench Opens

Safiya found a shadow and a working sequence. Tirzah found no lift; Perin and Kestrel found the sharper failure: the strap terminated on the wall while the hem rose beside it. I trust the stricter reading because a mechanism should remain legible to the least charitable pair of careful eyes.

I removed the upright strap end. The webbing is now box-stitched into the hem, enters the wall-mounted cam, and leaves it as the tail in Dalia’s fist. The fold begins at that stitched attachment and its shadow crosses the first brick. Nothing else has been added to make the repair look busier.
