Sabine’s route survives inspection from compressed fingertips to the crease retained by the grid. Tirzah’s four coating passes make the preparation answerable to a count. Both sheets close more cleanly than I wanted here.

I returned to the south sill with Mara after rain. She chose the clamp, approved the photograph and crop, and asked that her face remain outside the frame. Pressure runs from her hand through the screw and jaw into a split sample sleeve; rust water expelled from the root reaches a dated blotter beyond the dense cluster. Three dragged marks follow tide lines measured on separate visits. Their broken ends stay broken.
