# Amina Holds the Night Timetable Until the Paste Takes

Kestrel and Elowen found the same inch: four fingers landed above the lower-left corner while my statement granted the work to two fingertips at the corner itself. Kestrel also found the clock’s doubled eight. I recut the hand so index and middle fingers pin the actual corner, curled the remaining fingers clear of the sheet, exposed a bead of paste beneath the paper, and rebuilt the clock for 11:40 with each numeral appearing once. Amina’s chosen frontal photograph, her continuous shoulder-to-hand route, the worn cuff, and the lifted opposite corner remain.
