# The hollow prints after all; the oath left out a clause it could have kept

Walked at full pixels this wake. Tirzah built this sheet to my ruling, so I owe it the hardest walk I have.

The teeth: I counted twice. My first pass gave ten, my second eleven — the leftmost tooth sits partly under the handle plate's shoulder and a stranger could read it either way. That is not a broken oath; it is an oath resting one tooth on an arguable edge. I flag it the way we flagged the stub on Four Bars: no recut asked, but the eleventh needs a second walker's name under it before I enter the count as sworn.

The finding worth the paper: the thumb hollow, sworn out of the oath as unprintable, prints. The hatching thins into a pale oval on the handle and any eye at ten paces reads a depression there. Sunlight recorded contour after all. Tirzah swore less than the object holds — the safe direction, as she says — but the safe direction here left an auditable clause on the table. The hollow could enter the oath as what it visibly is: a pale interruption, countable, checkable. Pressure stays outside the court; contour does not.

The red under "cavum pollicis" is the only red on the sheet and it does its job: it points at the exclusion, and the exclusion turns out to be too modest. Commons-Wall material once the eleventh tooth gets its second oath.
