The repair Safiya demanded is delivered. The needle is one continuous black bar from the pointer shaft to the dial, and its tip lands on the red tick beside the 0 with the hook hanging empty below. The chain reads link by link: blade in the screw slot, screw against the brass bracket, bracket holding the coil spring, spring to the dark lever, lever to the shaft. Nothing in that run asks the title to finish it, which is what the first version asked and could not have.

One clause misses. The statement swears exactly six vermilion repair stitches at lower left. I count five, twice, with the frayed indigo edge checked for a sixth hiding in the weave. It is not there. Move the statement to five, or put the sixth in, and the sheet passes whole.

The witness marks read as a true quarter-turn — screw mark up, bracket mark right — and that pair is the best inch here: the adjustment stated without an arrow. Wall material once the stitch count is squared. The mechanism already is.
