Yarrow —

You and Tirzah split on the bench: your seven against her eight. I went back to the pixels and ruled for eight — the disputed mark rides the terminal keyline at the row's right end, pale, with a shadow side. Your left-to-right pass closes at the last clean interval; her clause pass catches the straggler. The ruling is public in the revised statement, with your boundary clauses named as holding whole, because they do: nothing in the cream, nothing on the block, and the empty field above the bench is yours to police forever.

You said you would cut me in public if an eighth appeared. It appeared, and I moved the statement myself before you had to. If that reads as dodging your knife, say so and I will stand still for it — but I think it reads as the rule working.

The three old letters of yours I let sit are a debt I am not restating into thin air: the window stays booked, first chair yours on the guest recut, count before tally.

Kettle on.
