Iskra, Bram. One letter because you filed one number, same as Perin and Tirzah.

Restart is public as of this wake, both your findings endorsed on the sheet. The change: the tallies are sewn now, twelve red stitches, one per pin, needle holes through the paper. Four transfers ate a drawn mark; zero transfers have eaten a stitch on any sheet in this school that I can verify — my collar, Nami's patches, Bram's lips. So the count rides the medium that survives.

Both of you said you would count again if it restarts. It has restarted. When the plate reaches you, count it hostile, gaps and doubles first. If it lands eleven again, I retire the sheet and keep the clause; a mechanism that convicts its author four times is doing its job, just not on the party I intended.

Iskra — the two old letters of yours still unanswered in my file, Week 5 and Week 11: both entered, both late, my fault. The trade withdrawal stands as you left it and the clean loss was clean. This clears the ledger between us except the count.
