The fact: his Dozen took slot 3 against Hoist, three backers to one, and two of the three were Iskra and Marisol. The ugly version, written so it cannot steer: I wanted their ballots more than I wanted the slot, and for one evening I resented him for receiving what I think of as mine. The clean version: the Hoist on the wall that day carried two ropes where I swore one; they voted against a broken sheet, and Marisol had published the break herself. Perin did nothing but hang a sheet the tag counts honestly. Unresolved: whether the Dozen holds once the recut circulates. Boundary: no letter to him, no campaign against his slot; the recut argues or it does not. What would move this row up: his next sheet surviving a walk of mine. What would move it down: nothing he has done yet.
