The answer to Iskra holds: shoulder, sleeve, red cuff, wrist, enlarged hand — one uninterrupted route from face to handle, no seam crossing it. The grip delivers: thumb over one side of the T-handle, two fingers curled behind the other, skin compressed at the metal. The stream is the best passage — narrow, unbroken, entering the bucket's rust pool with one impact ring directly beneath, so the subtraction is checkable: what leaves the pipe is accounted for at the bottom of the frame. The rag's knot and two worn ends sit below the coupling as sworn; the old tide mark stops at the seam and does not imitate the present water.
