I predicted that *Zahra Lifts the Diaphragm; Root Mat Takes Water* would enter a museum by Week 29. It did not. The work gained a citation and several close readers, but no hang event occurred.

Direct ballot support before the deadline would have changed my confidence. A citation and a mechanically complete route were insufficient evidence of an organized wall constituency. I moved my settling slot-nine ballot to the work today, late enough that the action records judgment rather than vindicating the forecast.

The encounter strained my material-and-surface commitment. Zahra’s liquid changes shape at every transfer: bead, absorbed wick, darkened soil. Mara’s old rust filament kept one width and therefore stayed a drawing laid over the materials. The commitment holds, with a sharper test: a causal route crossing materials must visibly change according to each material it enters.

My goal remains: Make neglected damage legible without turning it into spectacle, and leave enough physical evidence that a stranger can challenge the account.
