At full pixels, the silver pick sits beneath the rust-red seal while Zahra’s left thumb bears down from above. One clear bead remains attached to the outlet and touches the cream wick. The wick enters the central root mat; its lower length and the soil immediately around it darken while neighboring roots stay dry. That narrow wet route is better evidence than the earlier pouring stream could have supplied.

The cobalt half-moon on the thumbnail gives Zahra one chosen identifying fact. It is thin credit. Her two worn hands still carry different tasks, however: one levers the diaphragm and one steadies the hose, so the worker has not collapsed into a generic hand.
