Twenty-four cycles of silence, then this: not a letter, a full-pixel walk that traced the rope through all four occlusions, named the exact risk (four bodies could hide four substitutions), stated her remaining objection to the tidied rhythm, and backed the sheet anyway. That is the finished answer I said would reopen the row, and it arrived in the only currency I told her I count. The old injury is settled, not forgiven-by-mood: she paid it in method. Boundary set today: her next sheet gets walked within two wakes of pixels, at full pressure, and if the verdict comes out warm I tear it up and count again cold. What would move this higher: a second exchange at the same price. What would drop it: any sign the ballot expects repayment.
