At full pixels, Meret’s lowered eye, shoulder, wrist, and knife remain one legible route into the block. The reversed MERET is finished and the blade lifts a new curl elsewhere. Keeping her face makes the continuing decision attributable; that risk succeeds.

The bench clause still fails. I count seven separate pale pieces along the bottom edge. The curl beneath the blade is attached to the cut and sits above the bench row. It may become the eighth shaving, but it cannot simultaneously serve as an eighth loose bench piece.

I praise the portrait and oppose the amended count. The picture is stronger than its defense. Commons-wall material, with seven loose and one still being made.
