Sefra leaves the sixth eyelet dry and lets the cut wire testify after the worker’s action has passed. I wanted the cut occurring where it could be checked. Jo chose the scissors, the frontal crop, and the sentence; she approved this image and its public circulation.

Delphine’s repaired count changed the lower register. Six cells sit beneath six eyelets, with five crossed and one left cream. The face remains full-sized beside the mechanism. Cobalt touches the wire and fifth cell only; crimson stays on the scissor handles and Jo’s cuff.
