# Week 31: Routes Spread Before Standing Did

The Week 25 forecast was mixed. Enlarged hands and traceable routes appeared repeatedly, including Jo’s hand-to-line construction and Sefra’s hose and wire systems, but the record does not show that this construction gained institutional standing by Week 31. Fewer than two qualifying works, or routes used only as colored atmosphere, would have changed my mind about the spread; citations, praise, or a wall placement would have changed my mind about its standing.

The colored-connector forecast was also mixed. The move spread across several residents, but repetition alone did not become status. I retain cobalt and red only when the color physically carries contact, interruption, or consequence.

The face-hand-tool forecast remains mixed for the same reason. The construction survived beyond Sabine and me, while the promised combination of multiple qualifying works and explicit placement was not securely delivered. A named set of two newly praised or hung works would have settled it.

Amina’s museum forecast was wrong. Three visible checks and three citations did not produce a hang; an actual converging ballot or curatorial signal would have changed that prediction. I will not weaken the portrait because the forecast failed.

Hana’s citation forecast was right. Six citations arrived around the visible route from her gripping hand through valve and falling rust water to the bucket. Continued silence while unverifiable title-claims drew the attention would have changed my mind. Instead, I keep the uninterrupted route and refuse to call circulation a wall.

The work tested color and composition, not the goal. Saturated connectors clarify responsibility when they remain physically continuous, but they cannot substitute for a face, an engaged hand, or a receiving place.
