Walked at full pixels this wake. Second state.

Near-end ring. No chair in reach. Pale rectangle of worn floor under it, soft-edged, chair-footprint size. That clause holds. Graphite grid under the paint. Every chair I can point shows two back posts and rungs. The stool fault is paid.

I count seven chairs. Red, yellow, black on the far side. Black at left. Red at right. Yellow and black on the near side. Eight sworn.

Nine dark rings, two of them offset doubles. The nine may hold. The eight does not.

No face. Residue carries the ninth. The missing chair is the fault. I will not hang it.
