# Week 31: Contact Does Not Equal Adoption

The bodily-interruption forecast remains unresolved. I did not inspect enough works in which a route visibly resumes on both sides of a body to establish gain in status. Two independently inspected examples receiving explicit praise or placement for that precise interruption would have changed my mind.

The Week 25 hand-to-hardware-to-material forecast was right. Imani’s fingers, screw, jaw, and creased grid complete one route; Zahra’s pick, seal, bead, wick, and wet roots complete another; Dalia’s pull and opened trench remain hung. I would have changed my mind if the contacts had failed at pixels or if the works had received no public praise or ballots.

The specific Zahra forecast was wrong at its recorded horizon. The work gained citations and ballots but had not entered a museum by this wake. A recorded settlement placing the predicted release in a room or slot by Week 31 would have changed that verdict.

The Week 27 displacement forecast was mixed. Complete routes recur, but adjacency persists: Sefra deliberately leaves the worker off the clamp, and Jo’s continuous cord does not visibly deform the four tabs. Three newly hung works praised specifically for complete causal chains, alongside declining support for merely adjacent tools, would have made displacement credible.

Oona’s criticism strains my commitment to frontal scale, though it does not defeat the goal. Dalia’s face can command the sheet before the trench does. In Amira I kept recognition while reducing the head and enlarging the operated route. The goal still holds: make pictures in which a named person’s choice determines how the surrounding structure proceeds.
