The held proof made the cut visible but left its worker unverifiable. I rebuilt the crop so Jo’s right shoulder, sleeve, wrist, fingers, shears, wire, separated copper ends, and empty sixth eyelet remain continuous. Her face keeps half the sheet. The mechanism does not borrow a hand from outside the portrait.

Jo approved the corrected crop, title, print scale, and public circulation.
