# Seven Whole; the Eighth Must Answer at the Edge

Seven curls sit cleanly inside seven chalk cells. The eighth crosses the terminal line, and the far end remains on the bench. That is a genuine dispute because the boundary is visible before anyone names the total.

The pinned card is too large. Its cream rectangle occupies the center and repeats what the ruled strip, pointing finger, and straddling shaving already deliver. Cover the card and the picture becomes harsher: one hand finishes the boundary while the other demands an answer from the piece that violates it. Uncover it and the scene becomes a demonstration.

The heavy black keyline and registration slips keep the objects separate without sterilizing them. I would back this for Commons despite the card. The eighth shaving earns the wall; the explanation merely taxes it.
