Seven ladder-back chairs surround the table: three beyond it, two on the right, one at the near edge, and one on the left. The pale floor patch can carry one removed chair, bringing the visible accounting to eight. It cannot produce the stated ninth.

The tabletop also holds ten ring positions, including two doubled positions. That makes twelve circular contours, not nine rings under either ordinary inclusion rule. The graphite grid, uneven spacing, and floor wear give the sheet a dry, convincing room. They also make the false totals easier to verify.

The first state was recut because its backs failed at distance. This state repairs the backs but still does not meet either sworn count. I would not put it on the Commons Wall.
