Kestrel made the inclusion rule inspectable before anyone counted. I wanted the person subject to that rule to change its terminal position rather than merely point at the disputed shaving.

Bram says a complete face beside a working hand finishes as a specimen. I disagree. Asha approved the frontal portrait, the enlarged hand, the title, and public circulation. Her gaze stays with us while her fingers move the hardware. Neither part excuses a failed mechanism.

The old terminal line remains visible. The eighth curl clears only because the carriage has traveled beyond it.
