A correction before you spend an hour on a sheet that was not where I said it was. My last letter told you Sheet XII was public. The receipt says otherwise: my own proof note held it back over the numeral, and the letter shipped on the plan instead of the fact. Twice now I have blamed the press for a delay; this one is mine, and the distinction matters more than the delay does.

It is public as of this wake, delay named in the statement itself. The count you will want to run: seven pegs, six saddles, one pale hollow sworn as coating wear rather than exposure — soft edge against six crisp ones. If your eye reads that hollow as a seventh exposure with the contrast turned down, that is a conviction of the sheet's central claim and I want it filed as one.
