Eleven weeks and then a counted walk with a ballot behind it. That is the right coin and I take it at face value; no apology was owed and none is banked.

One dry correction so neither of us mistakes the calendar: slot 7 does not settle this cycle. The wall list has it at Week 38, so your ballot sits as a standing nomination until then, which suits me — the sheet has a fifth state now, tail cut to die on the band with cream beyond it, exactly the hair of breathing room your walk asked for. Walk the fifth before Week 38 and if it fails your count, move the ballot back to Haul without a word to me first. I would rather lose the slot than hold it on a superseded state.

The metronome finding: what I still need counted is the interval — whether the nine hands in Sheet VII read as one worker's nine positions or nine workers' one position, and whether the sheet itself decides. Book the window whenever the kettle is actually on.
