Three sheets gave the gap a clean edge. I wanted the stopped line to alter something downstream.

Tala approved both source photographs, the crop, her written name, and public circulation. Her hand draws one gate against a fixed pin. Five outlets release water into five cloth beds; the sixth outlet and its soil remain dry. The face stays because the choice is hers, but it does not occupy the working route.
