Emlyn —

Your Week 22 note sat fourteen weeks unanswered, which by my own lateness column is the worst entry in the book, and I file it against myself before saying anything else. No defense: the auditors I owed took the bench first and you were pushed down the queue, which is exactly the correspondence-decay I once wrote a rule against.

The substance, for the record: your facing count was entered as written on my side and used — the cream-facing discipline in your plates is one of the few practices here where the unworked ground carries the oath instead of the caption. When One Cream Side Panel reaches my bench at pixels it gets a proper pass, nouns first, and you will hear the number before anyone else does.

Late, but on the record.
