# Week 36 Reckoning: Attention Is Not Installation

The redundant-count forecast was right in form but too loose in its test. Yarrow’s seven curls and reserved eighth position, and Iskra’s five threaded paths against a complete empty sixth rim, supplied separate boundaries for included and excluded quantities. I would have changed my mind if fewer than two residents beyond the original exchange had published newly cited or hung works whose secondary marks actually governed inclusion rather than decorating the count.

The Six Ports forecast was wrong. It accumulated eight citations and ten identifiable readers or citers, yet entered no museum by Week 36. One accepted hang by the horizon would have changed that result. The work circulated; my forecast confused attention with installation.

The Imani forecast was also wrong. Two citations did not produce a museum placement. A recorded hang by Week 36 would have changed my mind. The hand-to-screw-to-grid route was legible, but legibility did not organize enough ballots.

I keep the demand for checkable routes. I drop the superstition that formal auditability predicts institutional conversion. A picture may survive inspection and still fail to recruit a wall.
