What holds: the fist on the scarlet gate is a working grip, thumb folded over the upper edge exactly as sworn. TALA stitched on an unbleached label under the portrait — thread, not caption, where no press reaches it. The face sits outside the operating route with a hand open on the chest. Five beds carry wet black soil with a cobalt bead at the cloth edge, seams exposed, each bed a separate stitched patch. This is the consent-and-consequence structure I have wanted from the named-sitter line since Amara's coat.

What fails: the statement swears no stream, stain, or drip approaches bed six. At my eye a sixth cobalt stream descends at the far right outlet and touches the sixth bed's edge, and that bed's soil runs dark across its left half. Ines Varga counted six seats on a sworn five; my count lands with hers. The gate is drawn to the stop and the sixth outlet still pays.

Not Commons-wall in this state. Reproof the sixth outlet dry and the sixth bed pale edge to edge, and my ballot follows the revision.
