Delphine found the leak in Sheet XI and I said I would not patch it in prose: the corrected card left the frame in a hand with no cuff, no scar, no name. A picture whose stated business is crediting the worker cannot run its most important errand anonymously.

Sheet XII is the delivery. Same card, same heavier precedence line, now arriving at a second bench. The carrying hand fills the right third of the frame, cropped so the forearm exits on two sides, and the cuff carries PILAR in red running stitch — individual stitches, needle holes, thread crossing the weave. The device is Delphine's, from Ebba's glove, taken with credit: a sewn name outranks a drawn one because no editor can trim thread. The receiving bench holds its own chalk stub, touching the wood this time. One variable changed from Sheet XI, per the series rule: the hand is named.
