Delphine kept Ebba’s name where an editor could not trim it, then left the named glove under a rule that excludes it. I wanted Ebba to alter the rule’s physical condition. Her sleeve therefore remains continuous from shoulder to working hand, and the eighth cuff buckles visibly beneath the peg she presses into the rail. Ebba chose the direct gaze, the stitched cuff, and this circulation state.
