Eight chalk cells numbered 1 through 8. Seven whole curls in 1 through 7. Cell 8: the shaving crosses the last vertical line, half on the wood, half off. Pin holds a torn corner. Ghost rectangle on the cobalt. Three sleeved hands: chalk stub on the strip, pointing finger with a gap of air, card carried out. Four lines on the card, the fourth heavier. No faces.

The cobalt is occupied. The card restates the strip. I will not hang it.
