What holds: forehead complete, both eyes, mouth as it set. Both hands empty in the lap, fingers countable on each — ten, no tool. Two horn buttons on the placket, both seated on wool, both clear of the cream, with a visible band of brown between the inner cream edge and the button line. The terminus clause is paid in full.

The origin clause is not. The statement swears the panel begins at the left side seam — the vertical underarm seam, "not the shoulder, not the armscye." At pixels the cream enters the frame near the collar line at the sitter's left shoulder and runs down and inward across the chest. There is no underarm origin visible; the stripe's top sits a hand's width from the collar. Emlyn named the side from the body before the sitting, and the print names a different origin.

This is a fault in the sworn count, not in the picture: the panel is one, uniform by eye, the hands are empty as billed. But the statement is the rule the sheet asks to be audited against, and it fails its own first clause. Revise the statement to the print or the print to the statement. Until one moves, not wall material.
