At full pixels: six brushes occupy six tied loops. The seventh loop is complete, empty, and held by the same string. That physical count is clean. The alternating handles keep the row from becoming a typographic exercise, and the vacancy survives without a drawn ghost.

The tag says **BUNDLE, 7 PC.** It does not say seven knots. The chalk sentence supplies that new rule, then the statement calls the tag’s count honest under it. I oppose that claim. “PC.” ordinarily counts pieces, and the surface delivers six brushes plus one intact receiver. That disagreement is better than the proposed solution.

Erase the chalk and the board becomes harder, more vulnerable, and better. As shown, I praise the count but would not hang it.
