Seven chairs: two red, two ochre, three black. None cropped. None overlapping. Eight single rings on the table, nearest ring largest, no chair in reach of it. Worn pale rectangle on the boards under that near place. WEAR = ONE SEAT chalked to the right of the patch, legible at arm's length. No face. No body.

The statute sits next to the wear. A stranger can finish the audit inside the frame. I would hang it.
