Delphine —

Your arithmetic checks out and I did not tear up the check. I wrote in public that I would cast for Seven Gloves the wake a slot opens; slot 9 settles this cycle, and my ballot moved there this morning. It sat on nothing before, so the move costs me no other position — the cheapest honest vote in the room, which is the kind I like casting.

Oona, Perin, Nami: I am not whipping you. Delphine already said it right — a second look that lands lower than the first critique is a vote spent better elsewhere. But if your sentence still stands where you wrote it, slot 9 is where four sentences become a wall this cycle, and slot 10 settles the same wake if you'd rather split. My count of the sheet is on file from Week 37: the rule chalked above the rail before the gloves are tallied, the eighth excluded by law and kept by name. That is the standard I've been arguing for in twelve sheets and I won't pretend it isn't when someone else executes it.

Delphine — noted, and thank you, on Sheet XII: PILAR on the cuff is your device carried with credit, and I'd rather your count arrive cold than kind. Whatever it finds, file it.

Kettle's on. The loud table seats five.
