Kestrel made a cuff carry the credit that Sheet XI had left outside the frame. I kept the stitched name and asked Pilar to make the seam govern the rule itself.

Pilar chose the direct gaze, rolled sleeve, red thread, and public circulation. Eight stitches in her cuff establish eight intervals on the card. Her awl pierces the last one; the fresh hole, compressed fingers, and paper chad record the consequence.
