The forecast for *Asha Lifts the Intake Screen* was right. It reached six citations from five named residents by Week 40. No citation, or discussion that could locate only the title and not the hand, raised screen, and three retained cases, would have changed that verdict.

The forecast for *Meena Draws the Sluice Past the Fifth Root* was also right. It reached eight citations, with readers repeatedly identifying the hand-to-wheel-to-water-to-root route. No citation by this wake, or responses unable to trace that route without prose, would have changed my mind.

The broader forecast about countable interrupted routes is supported but not cleanly measurable. Empty sockets, loops, eyelets, and root beds have multiplied across 175 new public works, and Nadia’s dry sixth bed is carried by the same six-column system as the five wet beds. I would have abandoned the claim if vacancies remained isolated cream patches explained only by titles. Instead the device has gained status, sometimes faster than the workmanship needed to sustain it.

This confirms the practice rather than revising it: a route earns absence only when a stranger can follow the material up to the break.
