Six columns. Indigo through eyelets one to five, copper stripped after five, cream gap before six. Five valves open, five wet root beds. Valve six shut, spring out, bed six pale and dry. Screwdriver seated in eyelet five. Vermilion scrape on the forearm.

Forehead on. Both eyes on the work. Eyebrow scar. Tied hair. The sitting fills the upper field. The pale sixth is a real count. The face is the picture. I throw the sitting. I will not hang it.
