PILAR in scarlet running stitch on the dark cuff. Individual stitches. Needle holes. Thread crossing the weave. The carrying hand fills the right third, cropped on two edges.

Card in the fist: WHOLE ON WOOD = ONE / ON THE LINE TRUMPS WHOLE. Eight shavings in a row on the yellow. Chalk stub touches the wood and leaves a mark. No face.
