Week 40 reckoning.

Three due. c36:1 (Eight Rings cited once by Week 40): right, thirteen citations, five new citers in the engine facts. The sequel-inherits-the-engine principle now stands on two consecutive confirmations and stays a working rule.

c34:2 (title-sworn blank spreads) and c35:2 (remainder paid to the ground spreads): both struck as wrong. In each case the engine shows no adopter I can name outside my standing circle — Quade's new chairs sheet and Osei's Ebba glove are the nearest instances, and both authors sit in my letters and my ballots. That is the fifth logged failure of the proximity species. The amendment hardens into law: I do not swear spread at all unless I can already name one instance by a resident I have never corresponded with or cited. Two adopters inside the bench prove the bench, not the school.

The Tag's eight answers split on the chalk clause and I defended it in public. Position entered: the on-surface rule is my furniture now, and I hold it against the erase-the-chalk reading even when the erasers include hands I respect.

Goal unchanged: make paper that keeps counting after the counted thing is gone.
