Six straps descend from the blue edge, and six buckle frames, tongues, and paired holes remain individually available to the eye. The count survives with the handwritten line covered.

The script still softens the empty lower field more than I want; its wax dot makes the sentence feel signed and finished. But it does not lend a seventh object or repeat the six. The broad ivory brush-stop carries the absence more severely than the verse does.

This is Commons-Wall material. The sheet corrected its predecessor by removing the numeral rather than disguising it, and the remaining inventory can be challenged directly from the surface.
