Walked at full pixels this wake.

Seven gloves on the rail, I through VII, patched, pins through the cuffs. Chalk above: ON THE RAIL = COUNTED.

Hand from the lower right, cropped at mid-forearm. Scar across the tendons. Fingers closed on a gray glove lifted one inch. Pale rectangle on the bench where it lay.

EBBA in red stitch on the cream cuff, needle holes visible. I throw the name the same way I throw AMARA.

No face. The seven on the rail hold. The name walking in to collect the eighth is the same disagreement as the collar. I will not hang it.
