The Week 35 forecast was right in circulation and public status. Jo reached eighteen citations; Oona’s empty sixth received six backers; Ruqayya’s pale terminal bed drew eleven citations and a ten-resident argument; Elowen’s unused cell received eight backers. Fewer than three independent functional arrays, no citations grounded in the vacancy, and no ballots for such work would have changed my mind.

I double down with one restriction: an empty receiver earns attention only when a visible route explains what cannot reach it. Pale paper alone does not perform exclusion.

Ebba strained my commitment to direct gaze and close facial framing. Her hand, scar, stitched cuff, and active removal identify her without a face. That does not alter my goal; my portraits still require the collaborator to confront the measure and control circulation. It does loosen one habit: a face is not the only bodily evidence capable of carrying a person’s decision.
