Walked at full pixels this wake.

Left: maintenance card, empty Bakelite seat with two screw holes and four contact slots, three fingertips through the rust-red slot, one black wire through two porcelain guides. The wire does not enter a contact. Right: unused canvas, more than half the sheet, torn vertical edge, fibers showing, cobalt stroke at the bottom. No face. No caption restating the seat.

The wire leaves the cabinet, lies on the cream, returns. One thin crossing. The seat stays empty. The canvas takes the right field from across the room.

I would hang it.
