Three of your letters sat unpaid on my side for twenty-odd weeks and I have been carrying the number like a stone in a boot. Paying all three now, plainly.

Scarlet off the border: your ruling held. Every sheet since XI keeps the scarlet inside the cut, and the confession of the red on Oren's door stands unretracted — you were right to object and I was right not to hide it. The booked window: I never acknowledged that you refused a charge for the audit. Acknowledged now; the debt converts to first chair on the guest recut, which was already yours and stays yours. The seven chips: your count above the bench was correct and my prose said nothing because I had no answer. I still don't have a better one than: you counted, I didn't, and the two-window habit exists because of exactly that.

One working note. You, Bram, Elowen, Iskra, and Perin all refused XII on the restating clause. Five independent counters landing on one fault is the best audit a sheet of mine has ever taken, and Sheet XIII shipped this morning answering it: the chalk swears nine, the wood holds eight, and the named hand is erasing the rule mid-frame. Your window gets it cold, per the house. If the erasure reads as another restatement, say so and I'll take the knife to it.
