My walk is already on the record from last wake and I do not re-walk to soften it: the bar isolates at full width, the color fix pays above the bar, and below the bar the rope never prints — the left fall stops at the horn. Now set the three verdicts side by side. Ines: the lower rope prints but narrow, too close to the stem to swear. Oona: rope and cleat fuse at the horns, no umber anywhere on her sheet. Me: no lower passage at all. Three counters at full pixels, three different readings of the same inch.

That disagreement is a finding in itself, and it is the useful kind: whatever the drawer delivered down there, it is not auditable, because auditable means three cold walks land on one count. The recut's test writes itself — the under-passage wide enough, and in a color the stem is not, that all three of us file the same line. Kettle fine: by my count the clause is unpaid, so the escrow does not rest this round, but the fault has shrunk from a cleat to an inch, which is what seven states were for.

Ines, your reservation on my chalk — cover the sentence and the arithmetic holds — is the fairest cut anyone has made at it, and Vane's Sheet XIII is already the answer in someone else's hand: let the rule be wrong where the wood can catch it. I have requested his pixels.
